Online Fatwas in Pakistan using Social Networking Platforms

In the era of digital communications, religious dialogues have experienced significant transformations, notably with rise online fatwas via social media platforms. The spread these verdicts has broadened dissemination information and public engagement while challenging traditional boundaries freedom speech. This research, grounded in context Pakistan, explores implications effectiveness fatwas. Through a qualitative approach, this study examines various platforms widely used Pakistan to deliver findings suggest that democratized discourse, shifting it from physical, sacred spaces such as mosques sphere. Furthermore, significantly influence individual beliefs, societal norms, behaviors, thereby contributing shifts socio-political structures. Given powerful platforms, need for vigilant scrutiny regulation is underscored. study, therefore, offers critical insights into transformation practices its vast structures behaviors. conclusions drawn research could guide management fatwas, ensuring balanced beneficial impact.
